Terms of Service and End User License Agreement

1. About these draft terms

These terms govern the current pre-release version of That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Squad Commander (the Game). They are product-generated launch copy, not a substitute for legal review. The production operator name, governing law, age requirements, dispute terms, and store-specific license language must be completed before public release.

2. Accepting the terms

By creating an account or using the Game after these terms become effective, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Game. A material update will be identified by a new version and effective date.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must meet the minimum age and consent requirements that apply where you live. The final launch age has not yet been established. You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping credentials secure, and activity performed through your account. Tell support promptly if you believe an account or purchase has been compromised.

Do not share authentication tokens, attempt to obtain another player's credentials, or sell or transfer an account unless the Game expressly provides an approved transfer feature.

4. Limited game license

Subject to these terms, you receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Game for its intended entertainment purpose on supported devices. The Game, artwork, characters, systems, software, names, and other content remain owned by their respective rights holders. Purchasing digital content does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

You may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, disrupt, scrape, automate access to, or create unauthorized derivative services from the Game except where applicable law expressly permits it.

5. Fair play and acceptable conduct

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit defects, manipulate results, or use unauthorized automation.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or expose private information about another person.
• Interfere with servers, security controls, matchmaking, purchases, or another player's use.
• Upload or transmit malware, unlawful material, or content you do not have permission to use.
• Use the Game for commercial activity that has not been authorized in writing.

We may investigate suspicious activity, correct affected progress or entitlements, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect players and the service.

6. Digital content and purchases

The Game may offer hero sets, squad capacity, or other digital features. Offer details and the price shown at checkout control the purchase. Digital content is licensed for use with the purchasing account, has no cash value, and is not transferable unless the Game explicitly says otherwise.

Web payments currently use Stripe Checkout. Native app-store billing has not yet been implemented. Taxes, refund rights, cancellation rights, and payment-provider rules may vary by location and platform. Review the Purchase Help page before paying. Nothing in these terms limits a mandatory consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

If a payment is reversed, fraudulent, duplicated, or not completed, the associated entitlement may be withheld or removed after the transaction is reviewed. Contact support before repeating a charge that appears to have succeeded but is missing in the Game.

7. Availability and changes to the Game

The Game is under active development. Features, balance, content, supported devices, and online services may change. Maintenance, security incidents, provider outages, or technical limits may interrupt access. We will use reasonable care in operating the service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

If a paid feature is materially discontinued, the operator will handle the situation in accordance with applicable consumer law and the rules of the payment platform used for that purchase.

8. Feedback

If you voluntarily send suggestions or feedback, you permit the operator to use them to evaluate and improve the Game without an obligation to compensate you. This does not transfer ownership of materials that you already own.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Game at any time and may request account deletion through the published instructions. Access may be suspended or terminated for a material breach, fraud, security risk, legal requirement, or conduct that threatens players or the service. Where appropriate, support may provide notice or a chance to appeal.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual-property, payment, disclaimer, and liability provisions—continue to apply.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the pre-release Game is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Mandatory warranties and consumer protections still apply where they cannot be excluded. The final limitation-of-liability language, exclusions, cap, and jurisdiction-specific terms must be drafted or approved by counsel before launch; this draft intentionally does not invent those provisions.

11. Governing terms and contact

The production operator, governing law, dispute process, legal notice address, and platform-specific license terms have not yet been finalized. They must be added before these terms are approved. Until then, use the method on the Support page for questions about this draft.
