Purchase and Restore Help

How web purchases, entitlements, receipts, refunds, and future mobile restores work.

Version 0.2-draftEffective August 6, 2026Draft — legal review required

Current purchase system

The current web release uses Stripe Checkout. Purchases are tied to the Squad Commander account that started checkout. The Game stores an entitlement after the payment provider confirms a successful transaction.

The launch catalog can sell fixed-price hero sets and additional squad capacity. The exact product, included content, currency, and total shown at checkout control your purchase. Individual heroes and whole-season passes may not be offered even if the catalog model can support different products later.

If paid content is missing

First confirm that you are signed in to the same game account that opened checkout. Then refresh the Store or Account page once. Provider confirmation can occasionally arrive after the browser returns to the Game.

If the entitlement is still missing:

  • Do not immediately repeat the purchase.
  • Keep the provider receipt or transaction reference.
  • Note the product, amount, currency, date, and approximate time.
  • Contact support without sending a full card number or password.

Support can compare the provider result with the game's order and entitlement records.

Restoring purchases

Entitlements are account-based and should appear whenever you sign in to the purchasing Squad Commander account. Use Restore Purchases on the Account or Heroes page to refresh the authoritative account record. On web this refreshes the server snapshot; in a released mobile app it also resubmits the current App Store or Google Play transactions for server verification.

A verified purchase from Stripe, Apple App Store, or Google Play belongs to the same signed-in game account across supported platforms. Provider receipts are still provider-specific: a Stripe receipt is not an Apple or Google transaction, and store refund or family-approval rules continue to apply. Mobile billing is not offered until that native build and its store products are enabled.

Duplicate, pending, or failed payments

A pending provider charge may not yet create an entitlement. A failed or canceled checkout should not create one. If two successful charges appear for the same intended purchase, contact support with both provider references so the records can be reviewed. Do not file repeated checkouts while the first result is uncertain.

Refunds and reversals

Refund availability depends on the payment provider, the product, your location, applicable consumer law, and whether the content has been delivered or used. This draft does not promise automatic eligibility or a fixed decision time. Contact support with the provider receipt and reason for the request. Purchases made through a future native app store may need to be requested directly from that store under its rules.

If a payment is refunded, reversed, charged back, fraudulent, or never completed, the related digital entitlement may be removed after review where permitted by law.

Safe payment support

Support will not need your password or complete payment-card number. Use only the checkout page opened by the Game, verify the product and price before approving payment, and report an unfamiliar charge promptly to support and your payment provider.
